Stephen Waldemar Stockseth, 82, of Orem, died May 6, 1991, at his home in Orem.
He was born September 16, 1908, a son of Rudolph and Oline Steffensen Stockseth in Salt Lake City. He married Kay Bittle, May 17, 1940 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They lived in California for 40 years, returning to Utah in 1986. He was a department manager for JC Penney's. He was an active member of the LDS Church serving in a variety of callings. He served an LDS Mission to Norway.Survivors include his wife of Orem; his children, Jean Marshall, Provo; Carol Oldham, Hacienda Heights, California; Margery Beaudin, Orem; and his grandchildren; one brother and two sisters, Joseph Stockseth, Odgen; Virginia Peeples, and Norma Lancaster, both of Salt Lake City.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 9, 1991, 11 a.m. in the Orem Suncrest 3rd Ward Chapel, 92 North 600 West. Friends may call Thursday from 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the ward chapel. Interment, will be in the Orem City Cemetery.
