A support group for parents of children with attention deficit disorder will hold meetings the second Tuesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. at Primary Children's Hospital.
Attention deficit disorder is a developmental problem affecting approximately 3 percent to 5 percent of all children. These children are hyperactive or have difficulty paying attention, controlling their emotions and acting without thinking. These problems can cause stress at home, at school and with playmates.There are a number of effective medical and non-medical treatments for the disorder.
