Auditions are scheduled Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, May 8-10, from 5 until 10 p.m. for Euripides' "Iphigenia in Tauris," the 19th annual Classical Greek Theatre Festival production.

The tryouts, under direction of Scott LeFeber, will be in Rooms 115 and 101 of the Performing Arts Building at the University of Utah (adjacent to the campus bookstore).All roles are open, and those selected for the cast will receive a stipend of $500 for the engagement. Those interested should bring a resume and current photograph. Scripts can be checked out from Room 206 of the PAB. All roles require strong voices, and experience with verse is helpful.

Rehearsals will begin Aug. 26 with initial performances in Moab and Creede, Colo., with performances in Salt Lake City Sept. 28 and 29 and Oct. 5 and 6, followed by a statewide tour.
