Chevron U.S.A. has retained its No. 1 ranking in gasoline distribution in Utah with a 13.8 percent increase in gallonage in 1990 and a 9.4 percent share of the Utah market, according to a report from Inglesby and Associate.

Using information supplied by the State Tax Commission, Iglesby published its monthly "Utah Gasoline Market Share Report," which said Amoco Oil Co. moved into second place and dropped Citgo/Southland to third place. Holiday Oil remained in fourth place and Tri Valley Distributing moved into the fifth spot dropping Sinclair Marketing to sixth.The report showed Sinclair was No. 1 in gasoline sales to government and imports in Utah. Chevron was the No. 1 exporter of gasoline and Amoco was the largest gasoline refiner.
