Margo Jensen Watson, popular City Rep performer and vocalist, will present a concert evening of songs from Broadway, movie and popular classics at two performances of "Margo!" on the City Rep Court Stage, Friday, May 10, and Friday, May 31, at 7:30 p.m. The Court Stage is located at the Utah Theatre, 148 S. Main.

Well-known to Salt Lake audiences for her roles in musical theater productions at Pioneer Memorial Theatre, TriadTheatre, Promised Valley Playhouse and City Rep, Watson's most recent City Rep credits include "That Old Gumbie Cat," "The Break-a-Leg Review," "Lerner & Loewe in Concert" and "A Salute to Irving Berlin." She is also a member of a country singing group, has appeared in local and national television commercials and training films and currently hosts a television program for KSL-TV, "Shop-Talk." A Metropolitan Opera Salt Lake audition winner, Watson has also taught classes for City Rep's Children's Theatre School.Numbers on her program include "All That Jazz," "I Love a Piano," Gershwin's "Summertime" and "Bess," and Gilbert and Sullivan's "Poor Wandering One." She will also perform songs from "West Side Story," "Guys and Dolls" and "Mary Poppins."

Performing with Watson will be Jennifer O'Haley, Cliff Cole, Leslie Warwood and Jeff Bryner. Rod Davis is music director, and choreography is by Marilyn May Montgomery and Terry Jessup.

Proceeds beyond expenses will benefit The Children's Center, a non-profit children's mental health clinic, and Salt Lake Repertory Theatre, a non-profit performing arts organization.
