An economic development summit will be held Friday and Saturday, May 10 and 11, at the Sevier Valley Applied Technology Center in Richfield.

The conference is aimed at acquainting participants with available resources, fostering a cooperative atmosphere among agencies, defining roles of various organizations and improving communications. It will be highlighted with a ride Saturday on the new Paiute ATV Trail from the Fremont Indian Park to Lions Park in Richfield.Group discussions are planned Friday. They will be centered around agriculture, tourism, industry, business retention and expansion, grants, financing and related topics.

Representatives of Snow College, Utah Power and Light Co. and state, regional and local levels of government will participate. The sessions are open to the public. Those planning to attend should telephone the Six County Economic Development Office at 896-9222.
