Wesley LeRoy Brown, age 85, of American Fork, died May 2, 1991 in Upland, California of causes incident to age.

He was born December 28, 1905 in Hyrum, Utah to Israel Smith and Estella Ann McBride Brown. Married Ruby Glenn, November 17, 1928 in Baker, Oregon. Marriage later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple; she died May 4, 1989. He was a farmer in the Dairy Farming business for many years, now retired. He and his wife had been residents of Boise, Idaho for most of their married life. He served an LDS Mission with his wife to Palmyra, New York, having participated in the Hill Cumorah Pageant. He had been Branch President in Elberta, had served in the bishopric in Boise, and had been High Priests' Group Leader in American Fork. He worked for many years as an ordinance worker in the Provo LDS Temple.Survived by three sons and one daughter, Fon Brown, Murray; Roy Brown, Nampa, Idaho (currently serving in Johanesburg, South Africa in the Temple Presidency); Richard Brown, Salt Lake City; Mrs. King (Sharon) Dalton, Upland, California; 20 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; brother and sisters, W. Lowell Brown, Provo; Blanch Bradshaw, Elsie Poppleton, and LaVerne Maughan, all of Wellsville, Utah.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 9, 1991 at 11 a.m. in the American Fork West LDS Stake Center, 165 No. 350 West. Friends may call Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Wing Mortuary, 118 E. Main, Lehi, and at the Church in American Fork, Thursday, one hour prior to service. Interment will be in the Hyrum City Cemetery, with graveside commencing at 2 p.m.
