A man was killed in a single-car accident Monday afternoon 10 miles south of Nephi on I-15.
Utah Highway Patrol Trooper Lance Bushnell said the name of the man would not be released until Tuesday afternoon pending the notification of next of kin.Details of the accident were still under investigation and were expected to be released Tuesday afternoon, he said.
The man died when he was thrown from his car in the 4 p.m. accident. The car, bearing a personalized license plate from California, traveled through a drainage culvert at the side of the freeway and rolled, pinning the man beneath the vehicle.
Parademics were able to free the victim, who apparently died at time of the accident.
