Weber State defeated Nevada 5-4 on Sunday to win its eighth men's Big Sky Conference tennis title in nine years.

The Wildcats were paced by Johan Strandberg, who went undefeated in ten matches at No. 4 singles and No. 2 doubles.Individual singles champions were Nevada's Tony Matkulak at No. 1, Andres Durangui of Nevada at No. 2, Weber State's Eric Sornas at No. 3, WSU's Strandberg at No. 4, Nevada's Christian Haldorsen at No. 5, and a tie at No. 6 between Hans Lissman of Weber State and Corey Winn of Idaho State.

In doubles action, the top prize went to Idaho State's duo of Omer Rashid and Murray Bradshaw, while Weber State's Eric Sornas and Johan Strandberg were champions at No. 2, and Nevada's Christian Haldorsen and Juha Sirelius won at No. 3.
