Clarence Lail, 81, passed away peacefully at his home in Salt Lake on May 2, 1991.

Born July 29, 1909 in Taylorsville, North Carolina to Lawrence and Minnie Mays Lail, one of 12 brothers and sisters. Married Thelma Betty Eggett on August 27, 1945 in Evanston, Wyoming. Clarence served in the U. S. Army during World War II. Worked for and retired from Westinghouse Corp. Clarence was head usher and active in the First Baptist Church. Always willing to give freely of his time and help for his church. A warm and friendly man, and will be missed by family and friends.Survived by his wife, brother, Warren Lail; sisters, Callie Coulter, Florence Dwese, Blanche Wilson, Eliza Frye, all of North Carolina; daughter-in-law, Wanda Casaril; grandsons, Gary Casaril, Cory Casaril, of Salt Lake; granddaughter, Sharon Turner, Oakley, Utah and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be Monday, May 6, l:00 p.m. at Skaggs Memorial Chapel, 777 South 1300 East, where friends may call the hour prior and at Larkin Sunset Lawn, Sunday from 6-8 p.m., 2350 East 1300 South. Interment, Larkin Sunset Lawn Cemetery.
