George Henry Criddle, 80, died Tuesday, April 30, 1991 at a hospital near the family home in Ukiah, California. He had lived there with his daughter, Carolyn and her family for many years.

Henry was born April 25, 1911 in Littleton, Morgan County, to Wm. Edward and Cynthia Wilcox Criddle, one of ten children. Attended Morgan High School and became interested in baseball and was an assistant coach. Member of the LDS Church, and participated in many activities including serving as Sunday School superintendent, which he enjoyed. He was engaged in construction work, mainly road building, as a machine operator. He enjoyed this occupation until retirement. He helped build the freeway up through Weber Canyon, one of his most memorable experiences. While traveling about, he met and married Rhea Stevens; she preceded him in death.Henry and Rhea were the proud parents of three lovely daughters, Marilyn, Carolyn, and Marsha, who each have their own families. He was grandfather to nine grandchildren. He is also survived by a sister, Mrs. LaMar Olsen, Morgan; and a brother, Ross Criddle, Bountifull.

Services were held in California. A viewing will be held Sunday, 7-8 p.m. at the Walker Mortuary in Morgan. Family services will be held at the Mortuary, Monday, May 6th, at 10:00 a.m. Interment, Milton Cemetery.
