Lloyd Bartholome has received the John Robert Gregg Award for his contributions to the advancement of business education.
The award was presented by the Glencoe division of Macmillan/McGraw-Hill at the annual convention of the National Business Education Association. It includes a $1,000 cash gift.Bartholome is head of the department of business information systems and education at Utah State University. He was recently named Outstanding Business Educator at the university level by the Western Business Education Association.
He has taught business education for 35 years and has been at USU since 1968. He has been in the National Business Education Association for 27 years. He has served as national association president as well as president of the Western Business Education Association and the Utah Business Education Association.
Bartholome has brought in more than $1.5 million in contracts and grants to his department and has been an in-service teacher educator for the Utah State Office of Education.
