Applications are due for all health and welfare agencies that want to share in funds raised during the 1989 Central and Southern Utah Combined Federal Campaign, to be held in September and October.

New guidelines require that all agencies that wish to be listed in the local Combined Federal Campaign brochure, and are not listed in the national eligibility list, must apply annually for consideration.Any agency wishing to apply must prove it is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as tax-exempt, that contributions to it are tax-deductible, and that it adheres to generally accepted public accountability standards.

Deadline for applications is 4 p.m. Sept. 15. The local Federal Coordinating Committee will announce its decision on local applications at a public meeting at 10 a.m. Sept. 20 in the Provo East Bay Post Office.
