The University of Utah College of Law and the College of Law Alumni Association will hold two continuing legal education panels Wednesday, May 8.

The 5:30 p.m. event will be in the law school's Sutherland Moot Convention.Panelists on the appropriateness of punitive damages include Justice Christine M. Durham, Utah Supreme Court; Judges J. Dennis Frederick and Timothy R. Hanson, 3rd District Court; attorney Elliott Williams; and attorney J. Anthony Eyre. U. Vice President John K. Morris will moderate.

The harmless and plain error panel will include U. law professor Lionel Frankel; Judge Leonard H. Russon, Utah Court of Appeals; Judge David S. Young, 3rd District Court; and Justice Michael D. Zimmerman, Utah Supreme Court. Dean Lee E. Teitelbaum of the U. law school will moderate.
