Salt Lake Community College has organized three days of activities to celebrate the Mexican independence day, Cinco de Mayo.

The events include: Tuesday May 7, a 6:30 p.m. dinner and show at the College Center Copper Room; Thursday, May 16, James Diego Vigil, associate professor of anthropology at the University of Southern California, will speak on "Within Mexican American Barrios" at 12:30 p.m. at the College Center Commons; Friday, May 17, John Florez, deputy assistant secretary for the U.S. Department of Labor, will speak at noon at the Campus Center.For information, call 967-4272.
