Timothy Jerald Worthen, age 44, died April 30, 1991 at home due to smoke inhalation.

Born April 14, 1947 in Salt Lake City, Utah, a son of Cora Montague.Married Vicky Emerson June 3, 1970 in Salem, Utah. He was close to his large family while growing up and worked with uncles, cousis and friends. He was very close to his grandparents. He was a generous, loving father and devoted husband. He graduated from Granite High School. He worked at Wasatch Metal & Salvage and later at Kennecott Copper. He was a quiet man who was unconditionally devoted to his family. They were his life. He enjoyed the mountains, fishing and hunting and shared these interests wholeheartedly with his children and grandchildren.

Survived by wife, Vicky; one son and one daughter, Taigon and Tonya Worthen, both of Kamas; stepchildren, Mr. and Mrs. Cory (Tammy) Schultz, Taylorsville; Debby Smith, Nampa, Idaho; Danyon and Brenda Campbell, West Valley City; six grandchildren; mother, Cora Montague, Salem; grandmother, Sarah Worthen, Centerfield; two brothers and three sisters, Steven and Richard Montague, both of Salem; Mrs. Dale (Charlotte) Worthen, Mona; Mrs. Mark (Tina) Curtis, Payson; Mrs. Richard (Patricia) Hyde, Carlin, Nevada. Preceded in death by son, TiLon Campbell.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, 2 p.m. at McDougal Golden Rule Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, where friends may call Friday, 6-8 p.m. and Saturday, 1-2 p.m. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
