Our beloved father, William F. Holt, age 85, passed away April 29, 1991, at his home of causes incident to age.

Born September 11, 1905, in Ogden, Utah, the oldest son of George A. and Bessie C. Holt. Married Irma Marie Erekson, on December 11, 1929, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He served a mission to Germany and was a High Priest in the Yale II Ward. He was involved in the gasoline business for 50 years having been a jobber for Flying A, Conoco, and Mobil Oil. He was owner and president of Holt Oil Co. He served a term as president of the Intermountain Oil Jobbers Assn., and president of the Murray Kiwanis. He enjoyed duck hunting and fishing. He worked hard and took good care of his family.He is survived by his wife; and 13 children, nine sons and four daughters, William (Gay) Holt, Salt Lake City; Eric (Marlene) Holt; Don (Karen) Holt, Salt Lake City; George (Jeri) Holt, Las Vegas, Nevada; Marlise (John) Housley, Salt Lake City; Dwight Holt, Salt Lake City; Mark (Karen) Holt, Hillsboro, Oregon; Todd Holt, Salt Lake City; Lynn Holt, Salt Lake City; Kalma Holt, Las Vegas, Nevada; Karma Fernelius, Salt Lake City; Yvonne (David) Mortensen, Carrollton, Texas; Tim (Gwen) Holt, Salt Lake City; 32 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren; two sisters, Maxine Nation, California and Dorothy Skidmore, California; and one brother, Gordon C. Holt, Salt Lake City.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 4, 2 p.m., at Yale II Ward, 1431 E. Gilmer Drive (1010 South). Friends may call at Larkin Sunset Lawn, 2350 East 1300 South, Friday, 6-8 p.m., and at the Ward, Saturday, one hour prior to services. Burial, Larkin Sunset Lawn.
