Edith Fawn Breeze Coats, beloved wife of 60 years, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away April 30, 1991 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Born August 15, 1912 in Millcreek, Utah, a daughter of William Carroll and Ethel Carlisle Breeze. Married James Harold Coats September 3, 1930 in the Salt lake LDS Temple. Graduated from Cyprus High School. Lived 60 years in Granger and 18 years in the Cottonwood Heights area. She was a regular weekly temple worker and a visiting teacher. Served as president of Primary, Relief Society and MIA and a teacher in all organizations. Loved cooking, knitting and crocheting for her family and friends.Survived by husband, James Harold Coats; two sons and two daughters, Glen B., Mapleton; Robert H., Riverton; Mrs. John (Norma) Bawden, Provo; Mrs. DeeLoy (Jeannee) Rupp, Tremonton; 19 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; one brother, William Harold Breeze, Pleasant Grove. Preceded in death by both parents and two brothers.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, 12 noon at the Brighton 5th Ward, 2561 East 7600 South (Bengel Blvd.). Friends may call Friday 5-8 p.m. at McDougal Golden Rule funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, and Saturday at the church one hour prior to services. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
