Perhaps tired of losing his shirt in Nevada's betting dens, Wendover Will - the world's largest mechanical man - has decided to leave that state and put down roots in Utah. Actually, Will, the 64-foot mechanical cowboy, was in the way of a remodeling project at the State Line and Silver Smith Hotel and Casinos on Wendover's Nevada side. His owners relocated the 13,500-pound, 40-year-old sign about 145 feet east, to the Utah side of the state border. It was either move him or tear him down, and State Line general manager Larry Herron said, "I don't think our community could stand to lose the kind of landmark Will has become."
