Lillian Carter Ostler, 84, passed away April 28, 1991 at her home in Nephi of a heart attack.

She was born May 18, 1906 in Nephi to Hezekiah Morris and Elizabeth Burton Carter. Married Horace Prince Ostler December 31, 1932 in Provo, Utah; marriage later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. He died May 28, 1972. She attended school in Nephi and was a member of the LDS Church. She spent many years working in the Relief Society and held various positions. She was a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers and held various positions in that organization.Survived by daughter, Marilyn Ealey and her husband, Harold, Nephi; son, Karl Dee Ostler and his wife, Linda, South Jordan; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Jack Dee Carter and his wife, Emma, Nephi; preceded in death by her son, Donald Carter Ostler.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 1, 1991 in the Nephi LDS 7th Ward Chapel, 222 South 100 East. Friends may call Tuesday evening from 7-9 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home, 94 West 300 North, Nephi and at the Church on Wednesday from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to service. Interment: Nephi City Cemetery.
