Keith Howard Simpson, 63, died Friday, April 26, 1991, at a care center in Bountiful of complications due to brain surgery.

He was born June 11, 1927 in Hooper, the son of Floyd H. and Nola Read Simpson. On June 30, 1951, he married Dora Lafon in Ogden; their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on December 2, 1962.He had farmed for himself and also farmed for Ellison Farms, with his step-father, David Moss. he had been a dairyman and farmer for the LDS Church.

Mr Simpson was honored for giving blood--over 250 pints in his lifetime.

He was a member of the Woods Cross LDS 6th Ward.

Surviving are his wife of bountiful; six sons, Floyd J. Simpson, Carona, Calif.; Theron K. Simpson, Bountiful; Lane H. Simpson, North Salt Lake; Scott R. Simpson, Kris L. Simpson, Jeffery L. Simpson, all of Woods Cross; five daughters, Mrs. Steven (LaFon) Allen, Kaysville; Mrs. Kurt (Carrie) Holbrook, Bountiful; Becky Simpson, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Chris (Doriann) Bowman, Roy; Mrs. David (Linda) Stark, Portland, Oregon; 15 grandchildren; and one stepgrandchild.

Also surviving are his mother, Nola Simpson Moss, Fruit Heights; one brother, Theron R. Simpson, Roy; one sister, Mrs. Blaine (LaVona) Cunnington, Hooper.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, at Leavitt's Chapel of Flowers Mortuary, 836-36th Street, Ogden, with Bishop Stephen Reitz officiating. Family will meet with friends at the mortuary, Monday, from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Interment, Leavitt's Aultorest Memorial Park.
