Lee H. Schmitt, age 48, passed away April 25, 1991 in Murray, Utah.

Lee was born April 30, 1942 in Salt Lake City, Utah, son of Carl Edward and Vera Matthews Schmitt. He was a member of the LDS Church.He married Charlene Ann Carnell and they have spent the past 21 years residing in the Seattle, Washington area where they have been raising their family.

He is survived by his wife Charlene; sons, Brent W. and wife Donna, Arlington, Wash.; Dan L. and wife Korena, Salt Lake city; daughters, Leanne C., Everett, Washington; and Valleen M., Salt Lake City. He has eight precious grandchildren, who were the joy of his life: Adam, Brandon, Cory, Cassie, Crystal, Michelle, Megan, and Michael. A grandson, Timothy preceded him in death. He is also survived by three brothers, Victor C., Neil M., and Dale E. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.

Lee was a contractor and he enjoyed working in the outdoors. He was skilled in working with his hands and enjoyed riding his motorcycle and playing golf with his son, Dan. He was looking forward to returning to Salt Lake City where he had family and many friends.

He will be missed by all but especially by daughter, Valleen. She became "Daddy's Little Girl," when he was on disability and had the joy of being "Mr. Mom" to his youngest daughter in her early years.

A viewing will be held on Monday evening April 29, from 6-8 p.m at McKay Colonial Mortuary, 2128 South State. Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 30, 1 p.m., at the morutary. Friends may call one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Larkin Sunset Gardens, 10500 South 1700 East, Sandy.
