Raymond Eugene Cromar, age 74, died Friday, April 26, 1991 at the Dixie Regional Medical Center in St. George, Utah.

He was born August 9, 1916 in Salt Lake City, to Henry Mansfield and Floris Hannah Chatterton Cromar. He married Donna Ridd in 1940, and was later divorced. He married Phyllis Emma Webb, August 13, 1966 in Elko, Nevada. Mr. Cromar has lived in Salt Lake City most of his life and the past 11 winters in St. George. He worked in the purchasing department for Kennecott for 25 years, and later in automobile sales in Salt Lake City for Duane Brown Chevrolet. He was a pilot and member of the Civil Air Patrol earlier in his life, while living in Hurley, New Mexico. He was a top bowler in Utah for 25 years, and was inducted into Utah Bowler Hall of Fame. He was an avid golfer. He was a member of the LDS Church and the Elks Lodge.Surviving family members include: his wife, Salt Lake; three sons, three daughters, Raymond William Cromar, and Douglas R. Leonard, Salt Lake; Jerald J. Leonard, Riverton; Pamela Nelson, Patricia Cromar, both Salt Lake; Lenore Baxter, West Valley; 18 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, April 30, 1991, 12 noon at the Salt Lake City Cemetery. Friends may call Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple on Tuesday from 10:30-11:30 prior to services.
