Beginning Wednesday, May 1, immunization clinics will be divided into two sections at the Central Utah Health Department in Richfield due to limited space at temporary headquarters.
Participants whose last names begin with the initials from A to L may attend on the first Wednesday of every month, and those with initials from M to Z on the third Friday. Clinics will be from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at 160 North Main Street.The department will be at that location until a new building is constructed west of the I-70 access road in north Richfield. It is expected to be completed in the fall.
Also on Wednesday, May 1, an immunization and blood pressure clinic will be at the Wayne County courthouse from 8:30 a.m. to noon.
In Piute County, immunizations will be conducted from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, May 2, at the courthouse in Junction, and blood pressure testing from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Senior Citizens Center. The town hall in Marysvale will be the site on May 7 for an immunization clinic from 10 to 11 a.m. and a blood pressure clinic from 1 to 2 p.m.
Additional clinics in Sevier County will be in Monroe and Koosharem. The Koosharem clinic will be Friday, May 3, from 10 a.m. to noon at the town hall. It will include immunizations and blood pressure testing. Also on Friday, blood pressures will be tested from 10:30 a.m. to noon at the Senior Citizens Center in Monroe. Immunizations are also planned May 17 in the basement of the library.
