A woman who claims she was hit by a baseball thrown by Cincinnati Reds pitcher Rob Dibble on Sunday said she had to stay home from work Monday because of the pain in her arm.

Reds general manager Bob Quinn said the club did not plan to punish Dibble. Dibble hurled the ball into the center field stands at Riverfront Stadium after the Reds beat Chicago 4-3 and Dibble got his fourth save.Meg Porter, 27, had the arm X-rayed, but no break was detected, she said. Monday, the arm was bruised and in a soft cast, Porter said.
