Udella K. Williams, age 96, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away peacefully of causes incident to age on April 21, 1991 in St. George, Utah.
She was born October 3, 1894 in Molen, Utah to John David and Helen Eugenia Peacock Killpack. She married Edgar Milton Williams October 8, 1918 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple; he died October 4, 1978. A dedicated member of the LDS Church, Udella served faithfully as organist in various Utah and Idaho wards and stakes for more than 40 years. She also instructed hundreds of piano students as well as serving as companion and accompanist to her husband in his musical instruction career.Udella was a loving and beloved mother to her surviving five children and their spouses: Mr. and Mrs. John R. Owen (Phyllis), St. George; Mr. and Mrs. Ralph M. Lindsey (Neva), Santa Rosa, California; Mr. and Mrs. John A. Gaz (Wanda), Ogden; Mr. and Mrs. Eddy M. Williams, Lewiston, Idaho; and Mr. and Mrs. Don D. Williams, Spokane, Washington; 15 grandchildren and 43 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Friday, April 26, 1991, at 1 p.m., at the Coltrin Colonial Mortuary, 2100 East First South, Idaho Falls, Idaho. Friends may call at the Mortuary on Thursday from 7-8 p.m. Interment will be at the Field Memorial Cemetery, Idaho Falls, following the services.
