David Wesley Gephart, age 30, passed away April 23, 1991 at his home in Sandy.

He was born May 23, 1960 in Inglewood, California to Robert F. and Norma Leatham Gephart. He married Ginny Lee Bridge, August 10, 1983 in Salt Lake City. Graduated from Bountiful High School and attended Utah State and the U. of U. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had filled a mission to Frankfurt Germany from 1979-1981. He was a supervisor/carrier for the U.S. Postal Service. He loved collecting and restoring cars and had received many trophies including the Ford Motor Co. Award for "Best Primary Division" Cup for his 1963 Lincoln in the 1990 Western Regional Meet in Bend, Oregon. At the time of his death he was president of the Bonneville Region Lincoln Club, and a member of the T-bird Club. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend and will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him so much.He is survived by his wife, Jinny; daughter, Katie; parents; brothers, Brian Robert and his wife Paula, Orem; and Paul Michael, just returning from the New Jersey Morristown LDS Mission; sisters, Mrs. Joe (Susan) Andrews of Los Angeles; and Wendy, Bountiful; grandfather, Fenton B. Leatham, California; grandmother, Jennie Gephart, Tremonton.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday April 27, 1991, 12 noon at the Bountiful LDS 18th Ward Chapel, 165 South 1000 East, where friends may call saturday from 10:30-11:45 a.m. prior to services at the church. Interment: Bountiful City Cemetery. Funeral Directors: Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary.
