David "R" Horlacher, 53, of Orem, died April 22, 1991, of a brain tumor at the home of Pat Pritchett in Orem.
He was born July 2, 1937, a son of Fred C. and Irene Rasmussen Horlacher in Moscow, Idaho. He married Doris M. Pritchett August 25, 1961, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.Survivors include his wife of Orem; six sons and two daughters, Donald Horlacher, Sandy; John Horlacher, Kanab; Paul Horlacher, Radcliff, Kent.; David Horlacher Jr., Provo; Gary Horlacher, Salt Lake City; George Horlacher, Orem; Mrs. Karl (Deborah) Wilson and Rachel Horlacher, both of Orem; 12 grandchildren; his parents, Las Vegas, Nev.; four brothers and two sisters, Fred R. Horlacher, Sparks, Nev.; James Horlacher, Draper; Ralph Horlacher, Scottsdale, Ariz.; Richard Horlacher, Alta Loma, Calif.; Mrs. Melvin (Carol) Lowell, Las Vegas, Nev.; Mrs. Mike (Joyce) Newman, Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Funeral services will be held Friday April 26, 1991, at 2 p.m. in the River Ridge 1st Ward Chapel, 1120 East 600 North, Orem. Friends may call Thursday from 7:30-9 p.m. at the Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary, 495 South State, Orem, and also Friday from 12:45-1:45 p.m. at the ward chapel. Interment will be in the Orem City Cemetery. Military rites will be conducted by VFW District #4.
