Leona L. Bryant, beloved sister, aunt and friend, passed away peacefully April 22, 1991, in Salt Lake City.
She was born June 12, 1917, in Collbran, Colorado. She was an employee of the United States Government for 40 years. At the time of her retirement, she was employed at Hillfield Air Force Base. She attended the Assembly of God Church in Ogden and Salt Lake City. She served her church as a bookkeeper, treasurer, and as a Sunday School teacher both in Ogden and Salt Lake City. She was also active in the Missionette Program in the Ogden church.She is survived by a brother, Edward P. Bryant and a sister-in-law, Ruth, Salt Lake City; she made her home with them for twenty-two years; nieces and nephews, David and Virginia Bryant, Don and Shelly Bryant, Lee Ripley, and James and Pat Summerton; also surviving several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 25, 12 noon, at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple. Friends may call Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m., and one hour prior to the services Thursday. Interment, Salt Lake City Cemetery.
