Doris Robinson Steen, 74, of Orem, died April 20, 1991, at her daughters home in Orem.

She was born February 28, 1917, a daughter of Phileon Benjamin and Dorothy Clapp Robinson in Iona, Idaho. She married Philip Melvin Steen October 4, 1939, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving as a Relief Society and Primary president. She taught ward genealogy classes, she also taught genealogy classes at the BYU Library. She donated much of her time to the genealogy library in Salt Lake City.Survivors include one son and two daughters, Nathan Steen, Jaffrey, New Hampshire; Mrs. Steve (Lynn) Madsen, Payette, Idaho; Mrs. Paul (Evah) Bullock, Orem; 11 grandchildren; one brother and three sisters, Phileon Robinson, Provo; Winston Crandall, Boise, Idaho; Whilden Wuehler, Biggs, Calif.; Dorothy Taylor, Spanish Fork.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 25, 1991, 11 a.m. in the Cherry Hill 1st Ward Chapel, 1700 South 400 East, Orem. Friends may call Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at the Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary, 495 South State, Orem, and also Thursday from 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the ward chapel. Interment, Eastlawn Memorial Hills Cemetery.
