Planting of the Alzheimer's Wildlife Grove, an environmental project designed to honor victims and their families, is scheduled Saturday, May 4.

The event will begin at 10 a.m., at the Jordan River State Park, 300 S. 1200 West, with dedication ceremonies planned for noon.Kennecott Copper has donated 235 trees, shrubs and bushes that are native to Utah. The creation of the grove is designed to contribute to animal and bird life along the river.

The public is invited to help plant trees, according to the Northern Utah Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association, and should bring shovels, rakes and a sack lunch.
