Bill Chillingworth, vice president and resident manager of CB Commercial, has been promoted to senior vice president and managing officer of the company's Salt
Lake office. He will continue to be the principal broker in the Salt Lake operation.In 1981, Chillingworth joined CB Commercial, formerly Coldwell Banker Commercial, in its San Fernando Valley, Calif., office. He moved to Salt Lake City in 1988 to oversee the company's brokerage and property management activities in Utah, Wyoming, Montana and Idaho.
Under his direction, the Salt Lake office was recognized in 1989 as the most improved in profitability of CB Commercial's 98 offices in the U.S. and Canada and in 1990 the office also had a record-breaking year.
He directs a 31-member sales, leasing and property management staff consisting of specialists in office buildings, retail centers, industrial developments, apartment complexes, acreage and investment properties.
