Stanford McClellan, age 66, passed away April 17, 1991.
Born December 28, 1924 in Logan to Charles E. and Josephine Haws McClellan. Married Beverley Watson July 16, 1947 in the Logan LDS Temple. Active member of the LDS Church. Graduated from Utah State University. Served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II and the Korean Conflict. National commander of the Mormon Battalion. Member of the Scottish Association. Lifelong educator and teacher. He was a specialist in earth quake preparation for Mountain Fuel. He was liked and loved by all those whose lives he touched.Survived by his wife; son, daughters and their spouses, Frank and Candice McClellan; Suzanne and Stephen Roth; Beverly Jo and Russell Plewe; Kathleen and Steven Pontecorvo; 12 grandchildren; brothers, Lincoln and wife, Dorothy, Cyril and wife, Betty; sister, Maude Tyson; mother-in-law, Mabel Watson; sisters-in-law, Shirley Osterhout and Mildred McClellan; brother-in-law, Robert Watson.
Funeral services Monday, April 22, 1991, at 11 a.m., at the Draper 8th Ward, 12270 South 1190 East. Friends may call Sunday, 6-8 p.m. at the Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State, and Monday, from 10-10:45 a.m. at the church. Graveside services 2:30 p.m. Monday, Logan City Cemetery.
