Bert Chapple, 69, died April 17, 1991 after a long illness.
He was born January 20, 1922 at Ucon, Idaho, the son of Joseph W. and Lillian Loy Chapple. He received his education in Spanish Fork, Utah Schools and graduated from Spanish Fork High School and Heniger Business College, Salt Lake City. He served in the U.S. Navy in World War II. He was a motel and restaurant owner and operator for many years in both Utah and Wyoming. Member of the LDS Church.Survived by four brothers, five sisters, Frank J. Chapple, Provo; Mrs. Kenneth (Merle) Curtis, Springville; Loy (Shady) Chapple, Mrs. Paul (Mary Ellen) Beckstrom, both Spanish Fork; Mrs. Ralph (Annie) Spainhower, Payson; Mrs. Norma Anderson, Orem; Mark L. Chapple, Logan; Jack Chapple, Pocatello, Idaho; Mrs. Kirk (Janet) Jameson, Salt Lake City; brother, Joseph Chapple, and sister, Margaret Gabbitas preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 20, 1991 at 1 p.m. at the Huff-Linde Funeral Home Chapel, 519 No. Main Street, Spanish Fork, Utah where friends may call Friday from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday one hour prior to services. Interment: Spanish Fork City Cemetery where military rites will be furnished by Spanish Fork American Legion Post 68.
