Julian Smith Oviatt, age 80, died Monday April 15, 1991, at his home of cancer.
He was born December 22, 1903, in Farmington, Utah to Lewis Henry and Jesse Amelia Abbott Oviatt. He married Thelma Dudek in San Francisco, California; marriage later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He served an LDS mission to New Zealand , He was a High Priest in the Farmington 1st Ward. Served in many positions in the church.He is survived by his wife Thelma, Farmington; son, Thomas and his wife, Diane; and two grandchildren Whitney and Ross, Moraga, California; a sister, Ruth Hemming, Napa, California; and a brother, Reed Oviatt, Farmington. He was preceeded in death by a sister, Sarah Oviatt; two brothers, Lewis A and Vern Oviatt.
Graveside services will be held Friday April 19, 1991 2 p.m. at the Farmington City Cemetery. There will be no public viewing. In Lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Farmington 1st Ward Missionary Fund. Funeral Directors: Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary.
