New York Gov. Mario Cuomo is preparing a national tour to attack the Bush administration's domestic policies and what he calls the president's "fundamental lack of direction," a newspaper reported Friday.

Cuomo, often cited as a possible candidate for the Democratic presidential nomination next year, told the Los Angeles Times he will travel to "wherever they will give me a platform."Cuomo did not say whether he has decided to seek the presidential nomination but noted that his party has "to get the process started soon."

Cuomo said he will criticize Bush policies he contends have led to "a growing underclass, a deteriorating infrastructure and a softening of our economic strength."
