The Beehive Camp of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers will get $1,000 from the City Council to help restore a historic cabin.
The cabin was donated to the city 18 years ago. It is located at approximately 100 E. Main, next to the DUP Museum.Ronda Marshall, museum chairwoman, asked the council to provide funds to restore the cabin and complete a fence around the property. Mayor B. Kay Hutchings agreed to honor the request.
Restoration work is being done by Ethan D. Peay and Stewart A. Durrant.
