The Utah Small Business Development Center will hold the first in a series of five weekly sack lunch workshops on Wednesday, May 1, to help small-business owners and operators improve their sales skills.

"Game Planning for the Sales Professional" is the topic for the first workshop held in the center's conference room in the Data Knowledge Building, 102 W. 500 South, at noon.The titles and dates of the other workshops are: "Effective Prospecting," May 8; "Preparing a Winning Presentation," May 15; "Objections-Obstacles or Opportunities?" May 29; and "Time and Territory Management for the Sales Professional," June 5.
