Typing and record keeping skills are needed by volunteers for a children's adoption program. Volunteers will also answer the telephones. Training will be provided. A minimum of four hours per week are required.
General office work is being sought for one-half day per week. WordPerfect skills are desired.
Creative volunteers are needed by Highland Cove, once a month, to help make and decorate activity calendars.
Be a tour guide for Historic Renovated Home Tours, May 18-19. The volunteers are needed for three one-half hour shifts. Free tickets will be provided to volunteers.
Help teach retarded adults basic living skills one to two days per weeks. Days and times are flexible.
Be a senior companion to visually handicapped senior citizens. Help them accomplish daily tasks - light housework, transportation, doctor appointments, etc. The volunteers must be age 60 or older and be available 20 hours per week. A small stipend is provided.
Cleanup volunteers are needed Saturday, April 27, for a project on 4500 South in West Valley City.
