Scott C. Ulbrich has been named chief financial officer of First Security Corp., succeeding Morgan J. Evans, who will become president and chief administrative officer on May 1 when Robert T. Heiner retires.
Ulbrich, who is senior vice president, joined First Security in 1984 as vice president and manager of the Asset/Liability Management Dept. in the Capital Markets and Funds Management Division.He previously held management positions for seven years at Norwest Bank, Minneapolis.
A native of Chicago, he earned a bachelor of science degree in finance and marketing at Utah State University and a master of science in finance from Colorado State University.
He is a member of the Treasury Management Commission of the Bank Administration Institute and the National Asset/Liability Management Assoc. He also is a member of the faculty of the School for Bank Administration at the University of Wisconsin.
