America celebrates the 100th anniversary of the National Forest System in 1991. As part of the celebration, the Uinta National Forest and Tooele County Wildlife Federation will host a wildlife viewing and information day at 9 a.m. Saturday, April 27.

Those interested should meet at the Ben-more Station approximately four miles northwest of Vernon Reservoir and are invited to spend the day exploring the history and wildlife viewing opportunities in the Vernon area.Activities will include talks on the history of the area, information on the wildlife and an afternoon work project. Participants should bring a lunch and appropriate clothing. Additional information may be obtained by contacting the Spanish Fork Ranger District at 798-3571.
