After many months of public hearings and city planning meetings, zoning for RiverWoods Research and Business Park has been approved by the Provo City Planning Commission.
Terry Harward, manager and co-developer for Gump & Ayers, said the $12 million project is finally moving ahead after two years of planning. "All of us associated with RiverWoods are grateful to city officials and local residents for their input and suggestions," he said.RiverWoods will consist of 119 acres in Provo at 500 North and 300 West with 92 acres ready for immediate development.
Gump & Ayers is marketing the research and business park to local and national businesses. Under guidelines for tenants, all occupants must be nonpolluting because the project was designed to enhance and preserve the Provo River Parkway.
