A 4th Circuit Court judge ordered a man accused of placing bombs on three buildings in the Provo/Orem area held without bail because he is a "danger to the community."

Jim D. Bowcutt, 33, 472 N. 400 West, appeared in court Monday for arraignment before Judge Robert Sumsion on three counts of placement of an infernal machine, a second-degree felony, and four counts of constructing an infernal machine, a third-degree felony.Provo Police arrested Bowcutt Thursday morning after linking him to sales of components used to construct the bombs via sales receipts from electronics stores. Bowcutt is accused of placing bombs on windows at the Orem City Library in January, a Wasatch Mental Health office in Provo in February and an LDS stake chapel in Provo earlier this month.
