The Utah Building and Construction Trades Council will host a fund-raising breakfast Sept. 5 to benefit the Mountain West Ronald McDonald House.
The breakfast will be at the Ronald McDonald House, 935 E. South Temple, from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. The menu will be steaks, eggs and trimmings. The Utah Beef Council, Salt Lake Egg and Maxwell House Coffee donated the food.Cost is $4 for adults and $2 for children, age 12 and younger. Proceeds from the breakfast will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House, which is nearing completion.
The house is known as a home away from home for families of seriously ill children being treated at the University of Utah Medical Center, Primary Children's Medical Center and Shriners Hospital. It is owned and operated by Mountain West Friends of Hospitalized Children, a non-profit organization.
