Three teenagers were arrested after two boys ages 11 and 15 were shot and killed while playing in their neighborhood. The weekend slayings provoked rage and sadness in the inner-city community.

Police arrested two 15-year-olds and a 16-year-old early Sunday, just hours after the killings in the city's Roxbury section.Saturday night Charles Copney, 11, and Korey Grant, 15, were playing outside Copney's house when they were each shot once with a high-powered handgun, police said.

Copney, who turned 11 on Tuesday, was shot once in the left side. Grant, who would have turned 16 next month, was shot once in the chest.

The boys were rushed to Boston City Hospital where they later died.
