Fallen rock star Sly Stone is the target of a $2 million suit for not helping an East Brunswick, N.J., woman make it in the music business.

Ruby Tuesday Jones claimed she cared for the former leader of Sly and the Family Stone between February 1988 and June 1989 and in return Stone promised he would make her his producer and collaborator, the suit says. Jones contends they wrote and produced songs together and she wants damages as compensation for injuries and distress suffered during the relationship.
