The University of Utah Honors Quartet will perform at the annual membership meeting of the Chamber Music Society of Salt Lake City, this evening at 7 p.m. at the Museum of Fine Arts on the U. campus.
The society will announce its 1991-92 season, called by officers "the most outstanding . . . in our 25-year history."It will consist of the Guarneri String Quartet (Oct. 27), the Tallis Scholars (Dec. 2), Razoumovsky and Larsen (Jan. 20), the Alban Berg Quartet (Feb. 26) and the Vermeer Quartet (April 19), with the annual meeting set May 3, 1992.
The Tallis Scholars will perform at First Baptist Church. All others will take place at the Museum of Fine Arts. Memberships - i.e., season tickets - are priced at $65, with any remaining tickets to be individually priced at $20. Season tickets will be released for sale to the general public on May 4.
