Wanted for parole violation and unlawful flight to avoid prosecution

Morris R. Forward has a long criminal history. He was arrested several times in northern California and Las Vegas for reselling stolen property, car theft, burglary, grand larceny, distribution of a controlled substance and other crimes.

In 1983, Forward was sentenced to the Utah State Prison after he was caught trying to sell property that he had stolen from a boarder in Vernal. He was paroled in December 1985.

In 1987, he skipped parole and has not been seen since. Investigators believe he left town because he knew authorities suspected him of being involved in some of the crimes for which he had earlier been convicted.

Forward is an Elvis Presley fanatic and has ties to El Paso, Texas, Las Vegas and northern California. He has worked as a printer and a truck driver.
