Vaughn Mankin is Hinckley's new postmaster, succeeding Clark Hardy.

Hardy retired after 40 years with the U.S. Postal Service and 14 years as Hinckley's postmaster. He worked as a carrier for 20 years in Las Vegas, was a clerk at the post office in Delta for three years and a mail handler for one year in Salt Lake City.Mankin moved from postmaster responsibilities at Oak City, also in Millard County, where he held the position for nearly 12 years. Prior to that, he was a letter carrier for about five years in Orem and Salt Lake City.

Mankin is a native of Millard County, graduating from Delta High School in 1964.

The new postmaster is the only full-time employee at the Hinckley Post Office. It is classified as an intermediate route where a carrier from the Delta office picks up mail in Hinckley for delivery in the Abraham area.
