Outstanding students and faculty members will be honored at an awards program and reception during College of Science Week at USU, April 22-26.

The awards program will be presented at 4 p.m. Thursday, April 25, in the Taggart Student Center Juniper Lounge.Joseph G. Morse, associate professor of chemistry and director of the USU Honors Program, will be honored as teacher of the year.

Adviser of the year distinction will go to E. Robert Heal, associate professor and associate department head in the department of mathematics and statistics. Anne J. Anderson, professor of molecular biology, has been named researcher of the year.

The college will also honor Chad J. Clawson as scholar of the year and valedictorian. Clawson graduates in June with bachelor's degrees in chemistry and electrical engineering. He was named 1991 outstanding senior in the department of electrical engineering earlier this spring.
